Vasant Vihar is a prominent residential neighbourhood located in the New Delhi district. It is home to over 50 diplomatic missions from foreign countries, including the High Commission of South Africa and the Embassy of Argentina. Vasant Vihar PIN code is 110057. The area was first developed in the 1960s by retired Government of India officers. Its layout is structured around four main roads, which are Munirka Marg, Vasant Marg, Poorvi Marg, and Paschimi Marg. Vasant Vihar also houses the corporate office of Hero MotoCorp. The locality is connected to the city's public transport network via the Vasant Vihar metro station on the Magenta Line. The Shri Ram School, Fortis Flt Lt Rajan Dhall Hospital, and DLF Emporio are located within a short distance. Property rates in Vasant Vihar range from Rs. 21,550 to Rs. 32,147 per sq. ft. for luxury apartments, builder floors, and independent houses.
The wide, tree-lined streets of Paschimi Marg and Poorvi Marg are very convenient and refreshing for joggers like me. The air feels cleaner, and the environment is serene. You will not believe that you are in the middle of the national capital.
Vasant Vihar is expensive, but being close to the Vasant Vihar metro station is a huge plus. We are also close to the cafes of Hauz Khas and big malls.
Vasant Vihar is close to the airport. For shopping and entertainment, Vasant Lok Market, the iconic PVR Priya and numerous high-end cafes are available. It is a perfect place to unwind after a long day.

Owning a house here has been a good experience. The Shri Ram School, Fortis Flt Lt Rajan Dhall Hospital and Vasant Vihar Metro Station are all close. The area feels well planned with roads like Poorvi Marg and Vasant Marg.
Most things I need are close, from hospitals to shopping malls. Ambience Mall and Sangam Courtyard are just a short drive away. Traffic near Rao Tula Ram Road during office hours is the only regular issue.
Main roads stay busy, but inside Vasant Vihar, it feels much calmer. Hospitals like Fortis Flt Lt Rajan Dhall Hospital are nearby. Priya Park is good for morning walks.
Demand stays strong because of the embassies, metro and office spaces nearby. Prices are already very high though, so I'd buy here only if planning to keep the property for many years.
I visit this area often for meetings at ADPL Vasant Vihar. The metro is close enough to avoid driving, and grabbing a coffee or shopping near Priya Complex is always easy after work.
Going to Jawaharlal Nehru University from here is fairly easy, and the Magenta Line helps a lot. There are enough places nearby to eat and relax after classes, though staying here is quite expensive.
One thing I really like is that I hardly need to leave the area for daily work. DLF Emporio, Fortis Flt Lt Rajan Dhall Hospital and Vasant Vihar Metro Station are all close. The area is well kept and comfortable for long-term living.
