Thirumazhisai is one of those undervalued pockets. Once connectivity improves, this place will see serious appreciation. Holding for the long run as it’s my sleeper investment.
Thirumazhisai has become home. I appreciate the open spaces, better air, and slow pace of life. It's not fully developed, but for a homeowner looking for peace, it works.
Affordable rents and decent space, especially compared to central Chennai. It’s quiet, with lots of greenery. Commute can be a bit long, but worth it for the peace.
Spent a weekend here with cousins. Quiet and laid-back, almost felt like a break from city life. Not many hangout spots, but perfect if you want a digital detox.
Quiet and semi-rural in some parts. It is situated on the Chennai to Bangalore highway with limited social infrastructure currently. Bus connectivity is good because it is close to NH48. It's still developing and it's a perfect place for long-term residents or those employed in and around Sriperumbudur industrial zones.
Rent here is around 8k which is very reasonable. Grocery shops and small local eateries are just a short walk away. Handy place if you work nearby.
Water supply is heavily dependent on private tankers here. The traffic bottleneck near the Poonamallee high road junction is a daily torture during rush hours.
Schools are located close by and the layout streets feel completely safe for evening cycles. Main junctions are crowded but internal pockets stay quite peaceful.
Buses from the local terminus run frequently but get packed fast. Driving to Sriperumbudur industrial hub takes around 25 minutes. It is a manageable daily grind.
The main market area has everything needed for daily living. However, heavy vehicle movement on the highway creates a lot of dust and noise... mixed experience overall.
Mornings are calm enough for walks along the internal streets. Local pharmacies are stocked well and doctor clinics are easy to reach without traveling far.
I find parking very easy whenever I visit friends here. The open spaces give a relaxed vibe compared to central Chennai zones. Truly love the simple setup.
Industrial growth around here keeps rental demand high. Plot values are appreciating at a healthy pace. A good long term bet for steady rental income.
Hardly any good hangout places or budget cafes around this area. Traveling to city colleges takes more than an hour by bus. Feels too far out.
The drainage system overflows completely even after a short spell of rain. Streets get waterlogged and customers cannot reach my shop. Business takes a direct hit.
