Finding a decent rental close to Iffco metro isn’t too difficult when you have a budget of around 30k. Cyber City is roughly a 15 mins ride away so work commutes are fine for me..
Traffic around Hamilton road gets seriously frustrating during peak hours. Cabs often stop or park along the internal roads in the evening, and the short stretch towards Golf Course Road can take nearly 25 minutes... really tests your patience.
there are plenty of cheap food options nearby especially beekend cafe.. The annoying part is autos charging around 100 rupees for short rides after 9 pm, so I usually prefer walking back.
love the parks and malls around. my fav is leisure valley park..i live close to Beekend so weekends are usually at the cafe..overall good, safe area
Most everyday essentials are just a short walk away. Galleria and the nearby markets cover groceries and basic shopping, while having Fortis and Max hospitals within easy reach makes the locality feel quite comfortable for daily life.
There’s steady demand for 1RKs and 2BHKs because of the number of offices around the area. Rental properties can get occupied fairly quickly, especially homes located closer to the metro and main office corridors.
The dust around the main market becomes quite bad whenever road work is going on. Weekend parking is another major headache, with the shopping lanes getting so crowded that cars barely move... definitely not ideal for driving there.
everything is fine but the summer power cuts can stretch for a couple of hours in the afternoon which can force businesses to rely on generators and spend extra on fuel.
The streets are generally well-lit after sunset, and the smaller neighbourhood parks are reasonably clean and pleasant too..the area also feels very family type and vibrant..just get used to the traffic and evening hour rush
short-distance travel is rarely a problem if you leave early..inner lanes like MG road gets pretty congested at times so visitor parking gets a problem..
