Parking is a massive headache on the main market road. Customers always complain because people park their bikes randomly and block the entry. Delivery trucks get stuck in jams for 30 minutes daily near the main entry point.

NGL the food options around Sector 9 are great for students. Lots of small dhabas and roll shops, very cheap rates. The main market area stays busy till 10 PM so it feels quite safe to walk around.

Everything needed for daily life is within walking distance. Groceries, dairy, and fruits are right outside. I usually cycle to work nearby and the main roads are broad enough. Safe area even at late hours.

There are 2 decent parks inside where everyone sits in the morning. Good space for cycling. Autos are easily available right outside the gates to go to the main city schools and clinics.

Water supply is the only major issue here... we get municipal water for only 1 hour in the morning. Have to depend on tankers during summers. Otherwise the sector is quiet and neighbors are decent.

The internal lanes in Surya Vihar are totally broken. Walking to the nearby chemist in the evening is very difficult because there are no footpaths at all, cars just zoom past you in the dark. Streets need proper lights.

Roads get flooded very badly here during monsoons. Even a small rain turns the lanes into small rivers, water stays for days. Getting an auto becomes impossible then unless you pay double fare.

Sector 9 is okayish for rental income since it is close to old Gurgaon commercial hubs. Plot prices are stable now. Garbage cleaning by the city municipal corporation is a bit slow though, waste dumps look ugly.

The noise from the main road traffic is getting unbearable now. Heavy trucks pass by all night and the dust settles on everything. Moving inside the sector is also painful because of the crazy traffic.

Getting to Huda City Centre metro from here is quite easy, just take a shared auto from the main corner. Saves a lot of time daily. Rent is around 22k for a decent place, which is fair for Gurgaon.
