Surappattu is located near Madhavaram Taulk in Northern Chennai, with educational hubs like Velammal schools and colleges are here. With good connectivity via bus and rail access to all sub-urban areas. And basic requirements like schools, hospitals, colleges, and supermarkets are here. Students, families and IT workers are the usual crowd in this area, also the proptty price and land value is at affordable rates & less compared to other areas.

Surappattu is quiet area, which helps since I work from home. There's a big temple nearby and some small tea shops and grocery stores too. Only issue is waterlogging during heavy rains.

Bought a plot in Surappattu five years back. Now the value has gone up slowly. It’s close to Ambattur and Mogappair. Still not fully developed, but I see more people moving here now. Rental demand is low, but land value is stable.

This is a calm, temple-filled locality. People here are simple and helpful. No big traffic, and everything we need is within 10 minutes.

It’s affordable here in Surappattu. But honestly, the area still feels underdeveloped. Roads are patchy and public transport is not regular. You need a bike or scooty for daily commute.
