During monsoon this locality has a history of flooding, particularly in low-lying areas between Keelkattalai and Narayanapuram lakes. Limited bus connectivity to the city and it is still developing, also it's well suited for families and professionals who value peaceful residency.

Sunnambu Kolathur feels proper residential. there are many small streets and lanes here. finding a cosy and affordable apartments isnt too hard. but watersupply issues are frequent in many buildings and layouts

Great place to settle down for real. Very family friendly. there is long term stability here and connectivity is also good with numerous highways and roads. but if you rely on public transport, you'd be disappointed because there's no metro and buses are not regular. Velachery station is the only one thats close

The area has lots of small eateries and the most famous one is the A2B but there's hardly any fancy or trendy cafes here. I have also seen flooding and waterlogging issues here

The good part of Sunnambu Kolathur is the affordable pricing compared to Velachery. the area is also developing but its not ideal for fast appreciation. Also the mixed development is a factor that can limit the premium positioning of th area
