Convenient neighbourhood. Daily travel is manageable with buses from Camp Road. Tambaram station is about 15-20 minutes away. There are plenty of small stores and bakeries around for daily use. Evenings near Chitlapakkam Lake feel relaxing.

Our home is close to Camp Road, so everything is accessible. Schools, clinics, and markets are nearby. Traffic near the junction is the only drawback, but inner streets remain quiet.

SRR Colony is very quiet, almost too silent at times. Good for peace, but commute to my office on OMR takes long. Facilities like Annai Theresa Hospital are nearby, which is helpful. Not many food outlets or cafes, so options are limited.

SRR Colony has a stable real estate market with moderate returns. Demand is driven by families and professionals working towards Tambaram and OMR. However, lack of metro connectivity keeps appreciation gradual rather than fast.

SRR Colony feels safe, and streets are not too crowded. Living near Agaram Main Road. Buses are frequent, and getting autos is easy. Grocery shops and medical stores are within walking distance.

Getting a 2 BHK floor here for 19k is fair, and the ground water is quite sweet and clean. But power cuts happen out of nowhere during afternoons, so you better have a good inverter setup.

Daily travel to work is smooth because the Yashwant Nagar bus stop is just a 5-minute walk. Only catch is the heavy traffic on the main Velachery main road during peak evening hours.

Plenty of small tea shops and mess options around the inner streets here. The lanes feel completely safe and well lit even when walking back late from the library at 10 PM.

Walking inside SRR colony has become tough because people park cars randomly on both sides of the road. Fast bikes zooming through the cross streets make it very unsafe for older folks.

Living here is peaceful as top schools like Trileaves International are right close by. Daily groceries are available inside the lane itself, but the roadside street vendors completely block the walking space.

The area has a nice crowd which is good for retail sales. However, delivery vehicles struggle to enter the inner blocks because the corners are tightly packed with parked vehicles.

Property prices around Selaiyur are growing steadily. Getting a steady rental income from families is very easy here since it is a safe residential hub with excellent water supply.

Door-to-door garbage collection is regular and keeps the streets clean. But the storm water drains are poorly maintained, and a heavy downpour easily floods the lower cross streets for hours.

Finding a parking spot for a car is an absolute nightmare when visiting friends here on weekends. Also, local autos demand a flat 60 rupees even for short rides to the main junction.

The local streets are quiet and pharmacies or clinics are reachable within 10 minutes. A solid area for family life, though I really wish the colony had a larger public playground.

Renting in SRR Colony is pretty comfortable for daily living. Shops for vegetables and groceries are within walking distance on the main street. Getting MTC buses from Camp Road stop is very easy, though morning buses get quite packed.

Street lighting inside the colony lanes is good and the area feels safe for late night walks. We get metro water supply twice a week, but most houses manage with ground water pumps. Wide roads make car parking stress free...

Decent residential layout with good schools like Zion and Alpha just around Agaram Road. Daily vegetable vendors visit the interior streets directly. Traffic near Camp Road signal gets heavy during school drop hours, but the internal colony roads remain peaceful.

Going to Tambaram railway station from here takes around 20 minutes by auto or bike. Velachery main road junction stays blocked during evening peak hours though. It is manageable if you leave a bit early, otherwise you get stuck.

Drainage is a major headache here whenever it rains heavily. Water stagnation happens near Selaiyur lake overflow channels and stays on the road for days. Drains are not cleared properly before monsoon... basic civic work needs a lot of improvement.

Quiet neighbourhood with very less noise compared to the main road. Morning walks inside the colony roads are pleasant because vehicle movement is minimal. Pharmacies and small clinics are nearby, so basic medical needs are easily met.

Autos from Tambaram East terminus charge around 80 rupees to reach SRR Colony. Finding street parking for cars near the interior shops is tricky during weekends. Plenty of small eateries around Camp Road if you want quick food.

Rental demand is strong here because of closeness to Tambaram transit hub and IT buses on Velachery road. 2BHK rents go around 14k to 18k easily. Water quality varies lane to lane, so tanker supply is needed in some blocks.

Shared PG options in Selaiyur are cheap, around 7k including food. But local autos overcharge students near the main junction at night. Also frequent power cuts happen during summer months, which makes studying at night really annoying.

Garbage is dumped on corner plots near the secondary road and not collected for days. Delivery trucks get stuck because narrow internal roads have cars parked on both sides... customer footfall for shops is decent, but road condition is very bad.
