i found a decent 1 bhk for 7k here which is way cheaper compared to Kalyan side. Shared autos to Badlapur station is good, so daily commute for work is totally sorted.

very calm neighborhood. but sometimes you do miss the main city rush..it gets too quiet on weekends.

Only issue is street lights on internal Sonivali lanes don't work at night, so walking back from the station late feels unsafe.

Footpaths along the main road towards Katrap are legit broken. Walking in the morning is risky because speeding bikes and heavy dumpers zip past very close on narrow streets.

i came around here to satsang vihar with my parents.. lovely calming environment away from noise

Affordable flat prices attract a lot of buyers and tenants working in the MIDC belt. Getting 8k rent for a 1BHK is smooth, and properties close to the station road don't sit empty for long.

Mud and waterlogging on internal Sonivali roads during monsoon season is terrible. Finding proper parking for a car near the market area is almost impossible on weekends... narrow lanes get totally blocked.

lots of affordable residences here. having a home here feels very relaxing..but if you have to travel to mumbai often, it can get pretty hectic.. otherwise its fine

Area is quiet compared to Thane city, plus open green views near Ulhas river side are nice.

Shared autos to Badlapur West station run constantly throughout the day..you will enjoy the area if you like peace and no city nonsence..there are basic things like local schools and markets like Dmart
