I work in Guindy and chose Saligramam because of its connectivity. You get buses, metro, and Uber easily. The area’s mostly residential, with schools and clinics nearby. Only problem I face is waterlogging during heavy rains. Otherwise, it’s a smooth experience.

We bought a flat in Saligramam as a long-term investment. Rental demand is steady, mostly from young professionals and families. The crowd is mostly students, actors, and IT folks. Lots of mess options, theatres, and temples.

We’ve been staying in our own house here since 2016. The area has evolved a lot—more supermarkets, ATMs, and better lighting on main roads. However, inner streets can get congested with parked vehicles. Still, the locality feels very community-driven.

Saligramam has that old Chennai charm. It's quiet inside the inner lanes but buzzing near the main road. You’ll find all essentials within walking distance. No major parks nearby, though. Good for families and solo renters alike.

This area sees consistent rental movement due to the film studios nearby and access to commercial hubs. I’ve rented out my 1BHK to a junior editor. The metro and bus connectivity adds long-term potential even though prices are already high.

I have a 2BHK near Saligramam Police Station. I usually get working couples or media professionals as tenants. It’s a safe, middle-class area with temples and small eateries. Road maintenance has improved over the years.

A well-connected residential area with popular for its peaceful streets, schools, and easy access to commercial areas.

It is comfortable and easy to access with restaurants, shops, and nearby entertainment areas. It has a balanced residential and commercial feel.
