Visited for a college event. Wasn’t expecting much but the area’s vibe grew on me. People were nice, food was surprisingly good, and local trains made travel easy.

Staying near SRM for college. It’s student-friendly, lots of budget food joints, and everything’s walkable. Gets crowded during peak hours, but overall convenient and affordable for a student lifestyle.

Potheri is a goldmine for rental income. Students, working professionals, etc there is always a steady demand for rentals. Less volatility than other parts of Chennai. Good value-for-money location.
