Polachery is near Mambakkam and has bus connections to nearby suburbs. It's a peaceful and clean area, close to IT companies. Many IT professionals have started living here, making the place more active. This area has schools, local shops and supermarkets for daily essentials. Perfect for IT professionals working in OMR/Medavakkam/IT companies looking for budget-friendly residential plots.

Polachery is peaceful and quite affordable. Buses are there, but frequency is not great, you’ll need a two-wheeler. The air feels fresh, roads are decent, and rent is way cheaper. Not many cafes, but there are grocery shops and a few small eateries.

The environment is really peaceful, and you can still hear birds in the morning! The area is clean and has new flats and individual houses. People here are mostly working-class families. Traffic is low, and we feel safe even at night. Great for senior citizens and kids.

I invested in Polachery in 2021 when land rates were still reasonable. The area is close to OMR, so it has potential. Development is slow, but the growth is visible. A few gated projects are coming up. Rents aren’t very high, but you’ll always find tenants.

Polachery is a bit far from the busy areas. It’s still developing, very few restaurants or shopping options. But rent is low, and it’s decent for bachelors or small families. You’ll have to travel a bit for hospitals or schools.

I love the peaceful environment here, feels like semi-village but with decent housing. Rent is reasonable, and the area is clean. Bit isolated at night, not ideal if you need late-night access to city.
