Pocket D, Sector 17, Vasundhara is a compact residential pocket in PIN code 201012, sitting in the Trans-Hindon belt of Ghaziabad that borders East Delhi. It shares its edges with Vaishali, Kaushambi, and Sahibabad, and sits close to the well-known Buddha Chowk crossing that anchors this part of Vasundhara. Yashoda Hospital & Cancer Institute is barely 400 m away, while K.R. Mangalam World School operates right within Sector 17, giving residents everyday essentials within walking distance. Vaishali Metro Station on the Blue Line is the nearest metro connection, about 2.9 km away, and Gurudwara Road serves as the primary route linking the pocket to the rest of Ghaziabad. As of August 2026, property rates here range from Rs. 6,410 to Rs. 7,857 per sq ft, and steady demand from Noida- and East Delhi-bound professionals keeps rental turnover healthy through the year.
Traffic near the Sector 17 junction gets totally jammed every evening. Easily lose 15-20 mins just getting out onto the main road. The inner streets are okay, but peak-hour driving here will test your patience.
TBH love how easy it is to grab an e-rickshaw right outside the pocket. Takes barely 10 mins to reach Vaishali metro. Tons of cheap momo stalls and rolls nearby too, so hunger is never an issue.
A nice, quiet area to spend the evening, and the small pocket park is fine for a slow walk. Only trouble is the uneven footpaths and high curbstones... need to watch your step carefully.
Honestly fed up with the morning water supply timing. It comes for like 45 minutes max, and the pressure is super low on the first floor. Always end up running the motor or arranging motor repairs.
Delivery vans can enter Pocket D easily since the main internal lanes are wide enough. Evening footfall near the corner market is solid. Pretty satisfied with setting up shop in this part of Vasundhara.
Garbage collection guy comes pretty regularly in the morning. Neighborhood feels safe enough for night walks. Only major headache is street dogs clustering near the open garbage bins late at night...
Rental demand in Sector 17 Vasundhara stays rock solid year-round. Getting 16k to 20k rent for a 2BHK is pretty standard. Decent locality with steady value, can't really go wrong here.
Visiting friends here on weekends is usually chill, but parking a big car after 7 PM is pure luck. You have to park two lanes away and walk back. Otherwise, finding the pocket is super simple.
Rainy days are an absolute nightmare near the entry gate. Drains overflow almost immediately and the whole entrance gets logged with dirty water for hours... really messy to step out.

Pocket D is super convenient, everything from veggies to milk is right around the corner. Rent is pretty fair, around 12k for a nice setup. Just that finding night parking on the lane is a bit annoying.
