Power cuts in this sector are getting out of hand this summer. It goes off for hours in the afternoon and my laptop backup just dies. Seriously makes working from home a total nightmare.
Living here is quite comfortable because the internal lanes are wide and we have decent parks for morning walks. Only issue is the water comes for just 2 hours in the morning so you have to track the timings.
Finding a spot for a car here in the evenings is impossible. The roads near the main market area get totally blocked with bikes and random parking, so I always prefer taking an auto when visiting.
Roads inside Pocket B are in terrible shape right now. Big potholes everywhere and it gets flooded even after a small rain, making it tough to ride a bike without slipping. Civic body needs to fix this ASAP.
The crowd in this sector is good for business, but the main junction gets massive traffic jams around 8 PM. It delays all my stock deliveries because trucks get stuck at the entry point for 30 minutes.
Safety is quite good here and the streets have decent lighting at night. It is a peaceful area to live since schools and clinics are all within walking distance, so daily life feels very sorted.
The parks here are nicely kept green and older folks gather every evening. Sometimes the main road gets too noisy with loud bikes, but inside the pockets it is mostly calm...
Market value here is stagnant because of the regular drainage complaints in the sector. Water logging during monsooms is a known issue, though the proximity to the main Link Road keeps demand somewhat alive.
Garbage collection is a major mess in the back lanes. The sweepers don't turn up for days and people just dump plastic bags on the corners, smells so bad in this heat.

Pocket B is so chill for staying. You get all the cheap street food and daily stuff right outside, and getting an auto for Vaishali metro is super easy from the corner. NGL the rent here is very cheap compared to Noida side.
