I work in IT and live in Perumbakkam. It's close to Sholinganallur, so commuting is easy for me by bus. There are many supermarkets and eateries nearby. The area is peaceful and has good water supply too. However, during monsoons, some roads get waterlogged.

We moved here recently. The area is calm with less traffic. However, the roads need maintenance. Shops and markets are at a convenient distance too. Overall, a good and cost-effective area in Chennai.

As a homeowner, I find the locality safe and peaceful. Neighbours are friendly. But, the lack of a proper drainage system is a concern for many.
