P&T Quarters is a residential government housing block located within Karol Bagh, one of Central Delhi's most established and commercially vibrant localities. The PIN code of P&T Quarters, Karol Bagh is 110005. In Central Delhi, it borders WEA (West Extension Area), Dev Nagar, and Old Rajinder Nagar, with Ajmal Khan Park as the area's principal green landmark. The locality benefits from strong social infrastructure, including Ramjas Higher Secondary School and JMH Prime Hospital within easy reach. Rajendra Place Metro Station on the Blue Line is about 2 km away, and Guru Ravi Das Marg is the main connecting road through the area. Property prices in Karol Bagh range from Rs. 23,000 to Rs. 32,500 per sq ft, and the locality continues to see steady rental demand.
Rent is okay for central Delhi but water comes only for 2 hours in the morning. Parking a car on internal lanes is a daily nightmare... people block gates without care.
Decent central place to stay for work. Getting e-rickshaws to Ajmal Khan Road market is super quick, but dust on main roads and traffic near Pusa Road signal during peak hours is irritating.
Very central location to live in. Everything from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital to basic grocery shops is right nearby. Streets are mostly quiet inside the residential pockets compared to the main market area.
Autos outside the station overcharge so much, they never agree to meter. Streets feel unsafe and dark at night because half the streetlights on internal lanes never work properly... really annoying.
Great spot to drop by for quick food and shopping. The bus stop at Meghdoot Bhawan is right outside, making transit super easy without spending extra on cabs.
Drains here get choked very easily whenever it rains heavily. The main road near DB Gupta Road side gets stuck in long jams every single evening. Not very pleasant to drive through.
IMO it is a sorted place for working people. You get food messes and small stores everywhere. Karol Bagh metro gate is just 5 minutes walk so my travel to work stays easy.
Location wise it is top notch because of proximity to Connaught Place and metro lines. Property demands high rent like 30k for basic 2BHK, but old drainage and garbage dumped on corners degrade the feel.
Water timing is the biggest headache in this area. You have to fill buckets early morning or manage with tanker water... otherwise daily routine gets completely disrupted.

Living here is comfortable because everything you need for daily life is within walking distance. Blue Line metro at Karol Bagh is very close for moving around Delhi. My only issue is the evening auto rush near Sadhu Vaswani Marg.
