As a tenant in Nandiambakkam, I appreciate the peaceful environment and affordable rentals. The railway station is nearby so I can commute to the nearby areas easily. Some roads are narrow, but the overall locality is improving with new housing projects.

As a homeowner here, I appreciate the low noise levels and spacious plots. However, it lacks proper stormwater drainage and has limited access to premium schools or hospitals nearby.

My unit in Nandiambakkam is currently occupied by a retired couple. The calm surroundings and affordable rent appealed to them. From an investor’s view, it’s a long-term play, not quick profit.

We moved in a 2 BHK here for the affordability. The flat is spacious, and the neighbourhood feels safe. However, the area becomes very quiet at night, and you’ll need a vehicle for errands.

I purchased a 2BHK in Nandiambakkam two years ago and have rented it out since. Rental demand is moderate, mainly from port and industrial area workers. Returns are decent, though appreciation is gradual.
