I rented a 1BHK in Naduveerapattu for under ₹8,000/month. It’s peaceful and ideal for small families. However, public transport access could be better.

I own a home here and use it as a second residence. Electricity and water supply are reliable, though the area lacks modern drainage.

We’ve been tenants here for over two years. The water supply is decent and rent is low, though you’ll need a bike or scooter to reach key places easily.

It’s not congested like central Chennai. We have rented a spacious 2BHK here. Air quality is good here and noise level is also low, but the area has very few entertainment options.

I invested in a 2BHK in Naduveerapattu and have been renting it out for the past two years. The demand isn’t overwhelming, but there’s a steady flow of working-class tenants looking for affordable housing.

I bought a property 5 years back in Naduveerapattu now it costs 3 times higher than the purchased value. New Industrial manufacturing are coming near by, so property value gone up as no one expected like this. If you are looking to buy a property with great profit in more than a year. I suggest naduveerapattu will be a great choice for you if you don't mind investing in Chennai outskirts.

Water is the main issue here, getting tanker water daily is a big headache. Somangalam main road gets jammed heavily during office hours, so driving a bike to office takes forever. Rent is around 12k though, which is decent.

Peaceful area to visit with lots of greenery around. Catching a bus from the Naduveerapattu stop towards Tambaram is quite easy during the daytime. Roads inside are narrow but driveable if you have a bike.

Quiet place away from city noise. Daily needs are sorted with small shops near the junction, and basic clinics are nearby too. Streetlights work fine on the main stretch, though autos charge a bit high at night.

Roads get flooded easily when it rains heavy, especially the internal lanes near the lake area. Garbage gets piled up on the roadside sometimes... smells really bad. Not happy with how the local body manages the waste here.

Bus connectivity to Tambaram is ok-ok, but frequency drops after 8 PM. Getting an auto or cab on phone takes time RN. If you work from home, it is fine because the surroundings are quite calm and chill.

Very green and calm area, loved the quiet vibe near the lake. Small tea shops and groceries are easily available for everyday stuff. TBH it feels like a nice escape from heavy city traffic.

Plots and houses are priced decently around 35L to 45L right now. Good spot to buy because land prices are steady. Main road traffic near the Somangalam junction can be annoying, but otherwise decent place.

Power cuts happen daily for 1 to 2 hours, especially during summer months. Main roads have bad potholes that never get fixed. Driving a car inside the narrow streets is just a daily pain.

Decent area if you want lower rent or cheap plots. But school options nearby are limited, so people have to travel towards West Tambaram. Okayish place, NGL not bad if you have your own bike.

Vegetables and milk are available close by at local shops. Evening commute back from Tambaram takes around 40 minutes because of traffic jams near the bridge area... water quality is also slightly hard here.
