I live in Mannivakkam and enjoy the quiet surroundings. Mannivakkam Lake is beautiful for evening walks. I travel to Tambaram station easily using buses. A lot of food options are there. Rains sometimes bring waterlogging.

Mannivakkam feels like a developing area. Roads are improving slowly. Tambaram and Vandalur are nearby, so for bigger shopping or restaurants I travel there. Local shops near Mannivakkam Junction help with basics.

Mannivakkam has less pollution compared to city zones. Air feels fresh and streets are clean. Some areas still have issues with open garbage though.There are a few schools and clinics within reach, and the nearby locality, Tambaram has bigger hospitals.

This area is slowly coming up. Mannivakkam is close to places like Vandalur and Tambaram, which are in demand. Land prices are still low compared to those places. I feel it's a good option for long-term investment.
