My uncle lives here, so we visited him once. The area is quiet and serene, but nothing much to do nearby. I was looking for some coffee shop to read and journal but didn't find anything good. There are small food stalls and outlets but nothing fancy.
Mallampet is a bit noisy and there's always dust from the industries nearby. the residential lanes are lesser in number but rent is much cheaper than miyapur. The connectivity is mainly through the Nehru ring road.
Mallampet has many great schools and colleges. The cost of living is somehow low. but i do feel there's lack of social and lifestyle amenities. there's limited malls, cafes or parks
I love that it's away from the crowded areas of Hyderabad but during evening the commute towards ORR is time consuming because of the traffic
