Mallampet is a peaceful and safe area with low pollution level. It's also easily connected to other areas via outer ring road. Metro is a bit far though, around 9 kms, so you have to take buses or autos to commute, which you can get easily.
It's a very nice locality in Hyderabad. Rent is cheap too. but not vibrant or posh like Banjara Hills or HITEC. Public transport is there but no direct metro connectivity can be a dealbreaker for many. I prefer autos and usually take local autos to get to my office. Weekends are very quiet and noise-free.
Living here with my kids since 2019, and it's a family-friendly neighborhood. Very safe too. There are many international schools and colleges within 2-3 km radius. Supermarkets are also within walking distance, so my grocery haul is conveniently done.
Great connectivity to major areas in Hyderabad. Miyapur metro station is also there, but it's a bit far. What I love about the area is the plenty of food options nearby but there's no fancy cafes or fine-dine till 6 km.
My uncle lives here, so we visited him once. The area is quiet and serene, but nothing much to do nearby. I was looking for some coffee shop to read and journal but didn't find anything good. There are small food stalls and outlets but nothing fancy.
