Malad East is a well-known residential locality, known for its upscale amenities and exclusive apartment complexes. It is a part of the most populated ward in Mumbai, the P-North ward, which includes Malad, Goregaon, and Kandivali. Malad East Mumbai is nestled between Goregaon East and Kandivali East. The Malad East PIN code is 400097. Several dynasties formerly ruled the neighborhood as a part of the historic Konkan region, including the Mauryas, Satavahanas, and Rashtrakutas. Malad, Mumbai has been a center of trade, commerce, and culture for centuries and has contributed significantly to the development of Mumbai's identity.
Malad East is honestly one of the most convenient and safest areas in Mumbai. I have lived in andheri and Dombivli before but I like Malad better. Everything is close by and there's good greenery
Malad East is peaceful and still close to central areas. Gated communities have good amenities here but what I hate is the waterlogging during rainfall especially near the low lying areas
My living experience in Malad East has been pretty good mainly because of the vibrant environment. you also don't have to rely too much in nearby areas for basic necessities. from big malls to quick grocery runs, this has everything. I just wish we had some organised parking spaces here
Rent is super high here and there are always construction acitivity near Film City road which creates jam packed traffic and becomes too draining. The good thing is you live in one of the premium neighborhoods
Having recently moved here, I find the accessibility to IT parks really convenient. My office is close and there are many recreational spots nearby which I love hanging out in with my friends
Malad East is definitely one of the happening areas in Mumbai. I love the vibe here - great cafes, excellent connectivity, and lots of museums and parks nearby
I have been living in this area for almost 10 years, and what I love is how it has developed so much in terms of infrastructure - road conditions, wider lanes, etc. What I hate is the crowd. urbanisation has lead to so much congestion in smaller lanes, and disrpted the overall greenery
It is a densely populated area, and perfect for long term investment. A few things I loved about it is the strong property appreciation because the area is constantly growing, and have good resale value.
Everything else is great but effective waste disposal needs more attention here as the area looks unclean and scattered some times.
There is frequent patrolling in this area which makes the locality quite safe. I love this area for its diverse culinary options which includes fine dine and street food vendors. The rental price is also decent here.

The area has stability and good for investors who prefer safe and steady returns. The only downside i feel is the redevelopment delays in some areas which can slow down the growth
