Kumananchavadi gives old chennai vibes but I wish the housing scene was better. there are limited apartments and almost no societies here. but you get value for money spaces from whatever is present

The congestion on trunk road gets really frustrating they should work on improving the road conditions. even internal lanes have potholes and theres waterlogging issues which makes it hard to walk even to the nearby stores

We built our home here when the locality was still developing. Now, there’s a supermarket, a clinic, and even a kids' play school close by. The community around is friendly, and there’s a sense of safety. Not many power cuts. Traffic can get a bit slow during evenings, though.

I moved to Kumananchavadi mainly because it’s close to my office in Porur. Rents are within budget, and the area has a quiet feel. Lots of apartments around, but still not crowded. You’ll find bakeries, medical stores, and even a couple of small salons nearby. The traffic is fine except during peak hours.

I invested in a 2BHK here for rental purpose. Found it affordable and easy to maintain. It's not in the high-demand zones, but still gets attention from office-goers working around Porur. Neighbourhood is simple, and infrastructure is slowly getting better. I feel it’s a good entry-level option.

Been renting a 1BHK here for over a year. What I like most is the balance, close enough to the city but still feels peaceful. Roads are decent and street lights are working. Not many hangout spots nearby, but for daily life it’s fine. Buses and autos are available, but metro is still far.

Visited my sister’s place here. I liked the calmness of the area. Not too many shops, but everything needed is close by. We went to a small temple nearby and found the place very tidy. The roads were wide enough and clean. It’s simple but very comfortable.
