Kon is slowly coming up. Few shops, clinics, and apartments are being built. The place is calm but far from big malls and entertainment spots. Okay if you want a slow, simple lifestyle.

We booked a flat in Kon last year for retirement. It’s quiet, with a lot of greenery. Not too far from city, yet peaceful. It may take time, but we’re okay with that.

Kon is growing now. Earlier it was just gaav, now buildings are coming. Families here are simple and supportive. But roads have potholes, and autos charge too much sometimes.

We’ve been staying here for 8 months. There’s a school nearby, and daily items are easily available. It's a decent place for middle-class families. But no big hospitals in close range.

We bought a flat here because it was affordable. It’s not fancy, but everything basic is there - kirana, schools, small clinics. Roads are narrow, and traffic gets messy during rain.

Visited my friend’s home for a puja. Her colony in Kon was peaceful, with a close-knit feel. Kids playing outside, people knowing each other, reminded me of older Mumbai neighbourhoods. It’s simple living here.
