I am living in a rented flat in Kokanipada for 18 months. It’s an affordable option with easy commute via autos and buses. Grocery stores, local clinics, and schools are nearby. The only drawback is narrow lanes and limited open spaces for kids.

Kokanipada has been a reliable investment for rental income. My 2 BHK flat here remains occupied, especially by working-class tenants. Property appreciation is however very slow.

I chose Kokanipada for its connectivity to Borivali and Dahisar. Local vegetable markets and grocery stores are within 5 minutes' walk. However, the buildings are compact, and internal roads are often crowded during peak hours.

My flat in Kokanipada is modest but functional. Connectivity is a major plus—easy access to buses, rickshaws, and the highway. However, parking is a major concern, especially for visitors or second vehicles.

Kokanipada suits our needs as a senior couple. The area is walkable, and healthcare services are accessible. The building is ageing, though, and we wish for redevelopment soon.
