Karawal Nagar has affordable rentals and a lot of independent houses. It’s quiet in some parts, but power cuts still happen.

A decent area for students and working people on a budget. However, reaching central Delhi takes a bit of time.

Shops stay open till late, so you’re never short on supplies. However, safety at night is something to keep an eye on.

Local parks give you breathing space amid the hustle, which is rare in Delhi. Just wish they were better maintained.
