The local streets are fairly quiet but they get quite dusty from the ongoing Metro construction.

Living here feels like a peaceful getaway from the city's noise. I found a 3 bhk for 28,000, which is huge compared to what I’d get in the city.

you are close to major healthcare hubs like Saveetha Dental and Apollo. The environment is much greener than the crowded parts of Vadapalani or T. Nagar. We do face some power fluctuations during the summer months, but it’s manageable

the commute is the best part of this locality. I work in Ambattur and the drive is pretty straightforward via the bypass.

The upcoming Metro expansion on the Poonamallee stretch is the biggest value driver for the next three years. I’ve invested in a couple of builder floors here..It’s a highly liquid market for anyone looking to flip properties.

Finding a budget-friendly flat near Porur wasn't working out for me. Indira Nagar turned out to be a better option, and I still have easy access to supermarkets and other daily essentials.

We chose to build our own house here instead of buying an apartment elsewhere. Over the last few years, the locality has become more active, and I'm happy with how the neighbourhood has developed.

The best part of living here is the school commute. My daughter studies at Sri Chaitanya Techno School, and reaching there takes barely 10 minutes on most mornings.

Evenings are when my pharmacy gets busiest. Local families returning from work usually stop by for medicines and household essentials, making that the busiest part of my day.

Mount-Poonamallee Road decides how my day begins. If I leave after 8:30 am, the traffic towards Porur builds up quickly, and the commute becomes much slower than expected...

Back when we shifted here, there were very few apartment buildings around. The area has grown steadily since then, but it still feels more peaceful than many nearby localities.

Having Sri Lalithambigai Medical College & Hospital nearby has been reassuring. My regular health check-ups don't involve long travel anymore, which makes a real difference at this age.

Every time I visit my relatives, we usually stop at D-Mart before heading home. It's convenient for weekly shopping, although weekends can get quite crowded.

Affordable apartments around this locality still attract plenty of enquiries. Properties with quicker access to Trunk Road seem to get more attention from first-time buyers.

Most of my mornings begin with a bus ride to Sri Ramachandra Medical College. The route is straightforward, but buses get packed during college hours, so I leave home early.
