The roads are wide in some parts. Morning and evening hours get too busy, especially near the main chowk. People drive rashly sometimes. Rickshaws now add to the congestion.

The commute options in Geeta Colony are convenient. We get DTC bus for commuting within the city. The bus stop is right outside our block. It's easy to reach even the metro from here. Krishna Nagar Metro Station is within walking distance. Rickshaws are always available, even late at night.

For healthcare, there are small clinics everywhere. There are nearby hospitals, like Surya Hospital, that are not too far. Pharmacies are always open, some 24 hours.

Geeta Colony feels safe overall. Most people have lived here for years. Streets are active till late evening. Police patrolling is frequent for public safety. There are many government and private schools nearby that provide easy pick and drop facility.

The local market is busy almost all the time. You get daily-use stuff easily at fair prices. There are also a lot of parks. There are proper walking paths and benches. I love walking around the Yamuna River.
