my office is in vanagaram and this area felt very convenient for the rent and environment..but lanes get waterlogged easily so watch out for puddles:/

if you are a foodie the options around maduravoyal are endless but don't expect any fancy bars or cafes. the dust from the flyover construction and heavy truck traffic on the bypass is a daily issue tho

Not a peaceful quiet lifestyle here but manageable. schools, markets, hospitals close but we kind of wish there were some parks too

public transport isnt great. nearest metro is 7 km and getting an auto that doesn't overcharge is a daily battle.

until the drainage and internal road issues are permanently fixed the locality will struggle to attract good luxury projects

The area is quite close to the bypass, making travel easy. Local markets for vegetables and daily items are just a short walk away. Rents are very affordable for independent portions here.

Buses toward Koyambedu are available but travel takes a long time during rush hours. The internal roads are narrow and get jammed easily. Rent is cheap, so somehow managing daily transit.

Walking inside the colony lanes is highly difficult due to zooming bikes. Footpaths are completely missing. Streetlights don't work in some blocks, making it dark after 7 PM. Potholes are risky.

Lots of budget rooms and cheap messes available around this zone. The local market is close, making daily expenses easy to handle. Public transport like shared autos are handy and cheap.

Commercial footfall is high because it is a busy residential pocket. Municipal garbage pickup is regular every morning. Only headache is that loading auto-rickshaws get stuck in tight crossroads.

Water supply timings are fixed and pressure is okay if you have storage tanks. The outer layout areas are relatively calmer than the busy bypass market stretch. Secure vibe at night lines.

Basic schools and local clinics are within walking distance, saving daily travel time. The streets stay active till late evening, so safety is not a fear. Main issue is the road dust.

Finding car parking here is an absolute nightmare on weekends. The lanes are narrow and full of residential vehicles. Auto drivers always demand extra fare from outsiders near the stand.

Rental demand is growing steadily from working class people due to budget pricing. Basic sewage lines function okay under normal conditions. Good value growth potential for independent blocks.

The lack of proper public drainage upgrades is the biggest issue here. Roads turn into muddy swamps even after small rains. Open gutters smell bad in monsoons and waste is thrown randomly.
