The one best thing about Dehu Road area I like is the road connectivity. NH 65 and NH 48 go through this area. There are several bus stops in this area on these roads. I like catching a train because of traffic jams on roads.

The highways are wide and in good condition. You can get traffic congestion on rush hours. Many minor roads are there for connectivity within the locality. You can get an auto for that.

Dehu Road is a clean and well-maintained area. Garbage collection is regular. Sometimes, I see litter on the roadside. The water and power supply is good and reliable.

Dehu Road offers good public transport options. PMPML buses and shared rickshaws are there for commuting. The Dehu Road railway station is a preferred option for daily commuters.

Dehu Road has many clinics and nursing homes for healthcare services. Reputed multi-specialty hospitals are close, but in Nigdi or Pimpri.

Dehu Road is a good place for living with a family. There are schools, markets and shopping outlets in every residential pockets. Kendriya Vidyalaya and several Marathi and English-medium schools are there.

Living inside the cantonment limits means the area stays cleaner than the city. Cantonment board collects garbage regularly. It is a very orderly and peaceful place.

Water is given only for 1 hour in the morning and pressure is very low. The Old Mumbai-Pune highway has crazy heavy truck traffic at night.

Dehu Road railway station connects well to Shivajnagar and Pimpri. Local local trains are perfect for daily travel. Avoid the highway jams entirely by using trains.

The schools inside the cantonment area have huge playgrounds. Streets feel secure and there are enough dispensaries nearby for emergency checkups. Very decent atmosphere.

The market near the station has all basic daily necessities. Prices of vegetables are cheap. However the main junction signal takes a long time to clear.

The air here feels cleaner because of the open cantonment areas. Army areas nearby keep the environment disciplined. Mornings are wonderfully quiet for old people.

Visiting friends here is fine but the entry toll point creates unnecessary bottlenecks during peak hours. Road quality changes drastically once you leave the main lines.

Property market is slow because cantonment rules have strict building restrictions. Resale takes time. It is good only for long term rental income from factory workers.

Hostel options are cheap but the internet connectivity is patchy in some internal pockets. Travel to main Pune colleges takes more than 45 minutes.

The cantonment trade license process is very slow and rigid. Strict parking rules mean customers get fined if they stop outside my shop for 2 minutes.
