Daulatpura is a well-established residential locality in central Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, pin code 201009. It includes Model Town, New Panchwati Colony, Panchvati Colony and Sector 5, close to Nehru Nagar. It suits middle and upper-middle-class families, with Holy Trinity Church School, Ingraham English Medium School, Om Medical Centre and Opulent Mall nearby, giving it a settled, mixed-use character. Shaheed Sthal metro station on the Red Line is about 5 km away, and Ghaziabad Junction railway station is just 2 km away. Grand Trunk Road and Bulandshahr Road link it to Delhi in around 40 minutes. Property rates in Daulatpura in 2026 range from Rs. 4,000 to Rs. 6,500 per sq ft, with 2 to 3 BHK apartments and builder floors in steady rental and resale demand.
Living here is pretty chill because everything you need for the kitchen is available just down the lane. Daily shopping is very easy and you do not have to go out towards the main highway for small things.
Evening traffic near the main junction is getting worse every single day. If you are returning from Delhi after 7 PM, get ready to waste at least 20 minutes just to cross that one patch.
Rent is quite cheap here compared to other parts of Ghaziabad, got a decent place for just 8k. Water comes only for two hours in the morning though, so you have to store it.
The local streets here are quite safe for evening walks and kids play outside without any issue. Streets are well lit now and there is always some rush so it never feels lonely.
The parks around this area are not kept clean at all, people just throw plastic wrappers and garbage anywhere. It feels very bad when walking there in the morning... civic body should look into this.
Power cuts are very rare these days which helps my shop run smoothly without any power backup. The commercial electric supply is quite stable here now, so no daily stress about that.
Roads inside the residential lanes are completely broken and full of big potholes. Monsoon rains make it worse, water just gets logged for days and no one comes to clear it... absolute mess.
Finding a spot for car parking is a nightmare whenever I visit this area. The roads are narrow and people just park their bikes haphazardly on both sides, leaving no space to move.
Property prices here are decent right now if you are looking for rental income. Lots of people working nearby look for rooms here, so houses do not stay empty for long.

Getting an auto from Daulatpura to the nearest metro station is such a headache daily, they ask 80 rupees for small distances. Shared ones are always full so I just end up walking most days.
