Chellammal Nagar is great for students..my college is 10 mins walking distance and renting here has been convenient so far.. better than hostels def. i do feel a lack of hangout places though..like cafes and pubs..even parks are a bit farther

I stayed in Chellammal Nagar while working in DLF IT Park and i think the location is the biggest advantage. You’re super close to Mount Poonamallee Road so commuting to Porur, Guindy, or even OMR is manageable...traffic is still there especially on the porur junction
