As a tenant, I enjoy the open spaces and pollution-free environment in Chandkhed. However, daily essentials are a drive away. It’s ideal for those who prioritize peace over convenience and don’t mind longer commutes. Public transport is also not that good here. Bus and autos are available but not in good numbers. If you book autos in the peak hours, they will simply loot you by charging double the actual fare.

I visited a friend’s farmhouse in Chandkhed. It’s a serene, beautiful area surrounded by hills. While it lacks urban charm, it's ideal for weekend homes or retreats from Pune’s noise and crowd.

I am happy with my decision to invest here. My 3 BHK property has tenants throughout the year. Bachelors prefer living here as the area is safe, accessible and enjoys good connectivity. But the development is slow here.

Living in Chandkhed feels like living in a village with city access. Roads need improvement, and public transport is minimal. I am happy living a serene life but during emergencies, I have to travel far to reach reputed hospitals. God knows when will the locality have some good medical facilities.

I explored Chandkhed during a short road trip. The area is still developing but has stunning natural surroundings. It felt untouched and serene. The area is okay to stay for a short time but not for long as the locality is not well-connected with big shops, hospitals, schools, etc.

Rents in Chandkhed are very reasonable. It is a good option for those who want affordable housing options on rent in a calm environment. But be ready to travel for everything—groceries, medical needs, and entertainment are all far. I have lived here for just 7 months and to be honest did not like the area much.
