As a tenant, I feel Chakkarpur is an extremely convenient locality to live in for long term. It is located at a walking distance from MG Road metro, and everything from groceries to gyms is close by. The roads are, however, not at all well-maintained and causes serious problems, especially in the rainy seasons.

Visited Chakkarpur during a work trip. The locality has local markets, grocery store, vegetable markets, etc nearby. Very vibrant area but its hard to commute to and from here without private vehicle. Roads are also not that good

As an investor, I find the rental turnover very fast. Flats and PGs are always in demand because of its central location and affordability. The area is overall good but some inner roads remain dirty for most of the days

Staying here as a bachelor was easy. The market is right there, and public transport is available 24/7. Rent is reasonable compared to nearby sectors but lack of public transport and too much traffic congestion caused me trouble on a daily basis

Property prices have appreciated a lot. I regret not buying here earlier. Now even builder floors fetch good resale value due to the prime location. Roads are however not well-maintained and causes serious threats during the monsoon.
