Its not very spacious in terms of flats..but decent choice for the rent. Being right off the Ring Road means I can reach Safdarjung or AIIMS in minutes. Renting here as a bachelor is easier than in other posh blocks...

Traffic noise is unbearable sometimes especially if u live closer to main road which is mostly the case bec the area is small.

Block G is a busy area.. but safety is good here. We have regular police patrolling and the street lights are always functional in our part of the block.

Finding a flat here was tough because demand is so high. I eventually found a studio for rs. 20,000, which is pricey for the size but the location is prime. The road conditions inside G Block are okay, though some parts need repair. I love that I can just walk to the grocery store or a nearby park for a quick jog. It’s a bit loud because of the proximity to the market but you get used to it.

Its a safe investment bet..i bought a floor here three years ago and the capital appreciation has been nearly 8% annually. It’s safe because South Ex I never goes out of style for wealthy tenants..

Premium locality with upscale houses. South Ext metro station is just a short walk away. The internal blocks have good security gates, but rent is extremely high.

Excellent connectivity to corporate hubs via Ring Road and metro. The locality is green and clean. Driving out during peak hours takes time due to main road traffic.

The neighborhood parks are well-maintained for walks. Streets are broad and peaceful inside the block. The only hassle is the heavy crowd and honking near the market side.

Very expensive area for students. PGs cost a fortune. However, high-end cafes, bookshops, and connectivity are top-notch. Safe for late-night walks back home.

High-spending customer base gives great business opportunities. MCD clears garbage effectively. Parking inside the residential block is strictly regulated for outsiders.

Water supply is dependable and power cuts are very rare. The neighborhood security is tight and night patrolling is regular. Extremely satisfied with the civic management.

Top-tier schools and premium hospitals are in close proximity. Very safe environment for kids to play inside the gated blocks. Traffic noise doesn't reach internal lanes.

Visiting the market here is great for luxury shopping, but finding a free parking space is a headache. Valet parking or coming by metro is the best option.

One of the safest investment bets in South Delhi. Premium rental yields and steady capital appreciation. Infrastructure like drainage and roads are excellent.

While infrastructure is solid, the commercialization of surrounding blocks has increased overall traffic. Weekends bring too much chaos near the entry-exit points.

Real Estate Market Trends and the Rental Demand in Block G, South Extension I

Property prices in Block G currently average Rs. 24,000 per sq ft, reflecting an 8.5% YoY growth. High demand for premium builder floors drives this appreciation. Rental yields are approximately 3.2%, with average monthly rents for 3 BHK units reaching Rs. 75,000. Appreciation is fueled by the Pink Line Metro connectivity and proximity to AIIMS. Scarcity of new inventory in this posh South Delhi pocket maintains high capital values. However, occasional parking constraints and traffic congestion near the main market slightly temper the growth rate compared to gated colonies.

As of May 2026, the rental price for serviced apartments ranges from Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 75,000, which can go higher, depending on the property type and location.
