Main drainage lines are completely choked and never cleared properly. Even a sharp 20 minute shower floods the internal lanes of D block with dirty water. Garbage collection has also become highly irregular these days.
The lanes are relatively quiet away from the main commercial rush. Having small chemist shops and local clinics within walking distance inside Surya Nagar is a big relief. Very peaceful environment for senior folks.
I drive here often and the entry check can be slow. Internal lanes are too narrow, so if someone parks on the road, your car gets stuck. But the connectivity to the main link roads is very direct.
Property prices stay high here due to the prime location right on the Delhi-Ghaziabad border. Demand for floors is always active because of the proximity to the metro. A very stable area for investment.
Staying as a paying guest here is convenient. Getting shared autos to the metro station costs just 20 rupees and takes 10 minutes. Plenty of local eateries and dairy booths are nearby...
