Block A, Shiv Shakti Vihar is a locality in Sahibabad Industrial Area, Rajendra Nagar, Ghaziabad, pin code 201005, near Lajpat Nagar, Mohan Nagar and Shyam Park Extension. It is a mixed residential and industrial area, with schools like DLF Public School and hospitals such as V Care Hospital close by. Sahibabad Junction railway station is nearby, and Major Mohit Sharma Rajendra Nagar metro station on the Red Line is a few km away. GT Road connects it to Delhi and Ghaziabad. Travel is okay if you have a bike, but getting a shared auto from the inner gates to the main highway takes ages. You end up waiting at the corner for 15 minutes during morning rush hours.
Staying in a PG here is decent because the internet lines are good and local food options are cheap. The internal lanes are just very narrow and delivery boys always call ten times to find the plot.
The area is mostly quiet during the daytime which is nice, but the walking tracks are ruined. The bricks on the inner lanes are coming off and it is very easy to trip if you are not careful.
Water comes twice a day regularly and the electricity supply is stable compared to other blocks. The local grocery stores are right at the corner, so daily needs are easily sorted without driving out.
Running my shop near the main block entrance gives good daily footfall. The big headache is the open drain nearby that overflows whenever it rains, blocking the front steps with dirty water for hours.
Rental demand is consistently high from families looking for budget options in Ghaziabad. Property prices are low enough to get a good return on small investments, plus flats get occupied within a week.
Visiting this block by car is an absolute nightmare because residents park their vehicles on both sides of the street. There is zero space to turn a vehicle around if you enter the wrong lane.
Safety is quite good inside the block since the local street lights are bright and neighbors are watchful. Small daily markets and milk booths are just a 2 minute walk away, which is very helpful.
The morning garbage collection vehicle comes daily now which has kept the main lanes clean. But the empty plots in the back are still used by people to dump plastic bags, creating a dirty mess.

Rents in Block A are very affordable, got a neat 1 BHK for 6k. The main issue is the morning water pressure which is super low, so filling the buckets takes forever before leaving for work.
