good parks nearby but for food and shopping, you usually have to head to Rajouri Garden
If you have a car, make sure your landlord has a dedicated spot because street parking is a mess.
Property prices have shot up since the Pink Line opened. but the maintenance of the internal roads could be better and we often see unauthorized commercial activity in residential basements.
The narrow streets are a massive headache especially when neighbors park their bikes haphazardly. My Amazon packages always get delayed because the delivery guys struggle with the confusing house numbers.
capital appreciation is slow compared to Noida but the entry price is relatively low for such a central location. Most of the inventory is old so the real money is in buying out dilapidated structures
decent if you are not picky about aesthetics as the buildings are packed tightly. Water supply is regular but the quality is questionable:) so a good RO is mandatory!
neighborhood is very active and safe because everyone knows everyone. We have small clinics and pharmacies here..but sadly we face frequent power fluctuations during the summer heatwaves.
Daily needs are easily available within walking distance. Very safe streets even late at night. Overall manageable
Metro station is quite close, making my daily travel completely sorted. Nice and peaceful block.
Markets, big pharmacies, and grocery shops are all right around the corner. Safe residential area.
The internal roads are wide and kept clean. Safe for regular evening walks, very decent crowd. Overall manageable...
Decent area to stay if you have a bike, but public transport like buses are highly crowded.
Water timing is the biggest headache here, we get supply only for 1 hour and it is very erratic.
Finding parking for cars is a daily struggle on the lane, otherwise the locality is quite good. Overall manageable...
Roads are completely broken and full of potholes. Monsoon flooding makes it impossible to move out.
Water supply is predictable but comes only for 2 hours in the morning. Rent is reasonable.
Autos near the main stand overcharge a lot, they ask 100 rupees for short distances. Very annoying. Overall manageable...
