I bought a 2 BHK property here in 2021, and the value has appreciated by 18%. The area is rapidly developing although a direct metro could bring in more value in the coming years. It's a good option for long-term investment.
I often visit the Semmozhi Poonga botanical garden which is located near to this locality. It's a quiet area with good picnic spots for a quick outing with your families. Not much developed in terms of connectivity, but a good escape from daily hustle.
Being in sales, I often meet clients in Anna Nagar, and from my 2 BHK flat in Ayanavaram, I take the train from Perambur station and it’s quick and cheap. The area is always alive with street markets and small shops. I miss a proper gym though. Security is fine. I rarely hear noise at night. it's peaceful and quiet area.
Suitable for families and retirees Close to Purasawalkam’s shopping district
Kamakshipalya is great if you work around yeshwanthpur or peenya. its affordable and very safe
The area feels busy and vibrant too. there are many temples around and the famous ISKCON temple is just few minutes away. but weekend crowd is real. its tough to even travel 3 km during such hours
I live here with my family, and it's been eight years. First of all, the area is peaceful and calming which I love, but it's not very accessible to public transport. metro is 5 km away, and there's only one bus stop nearby, which gets easily crowded. If you have your own vehicle then it's fine. Some lanes need better lighting during evenings.
