Renting in Ali Village is super cheap compared to Sarita Vihar. Got a 1BHK for 6k. The internal lanes are very narrow and getting a auto right to the door is hard, but Mohan Estate Metro is walking distance.

Water supply from DJB comes for barely 1 hour in the morning and water pressure is very low. We have to rely on borewell or motors daily. Otherwise, living close to Mathura Road makes getting around easy.

Local kirana shops and daily vegetable carts are right inside the village streets. Indraprastha Apollo Hospital and schools nearby are easy to reach, but open drains make the lanes unhygienic for walking.

Daily travel to my office near Mohan Estate is super easy, just a 10 minute walk or 10 rupees e-rickshaw. Main problem is the massive traffic jam near Sarita Vihar flyover during evening rush hour.

Garbage dumping near the main village entrance is a big issue and MCD trucks don't clean it regularly. During monsoon, the central village road gets waterlogged completely and turns into a muddy mess.

Having local chemists and small clinics within a 2-minute walk is helpful. Internal lanes stay loud all day, but going for a morning walk towards the main road early morning is quiet enough.

Taking a car inside Ali Village narrow streets is a huge mistake. Roadways are packed with parked bikes, rickshaws, and tight turns. I always park near Mathura Road side and walk in.

High demand for low-budget residential rooms and floors from factory workers and staff working in Mohan Estate Industrial Area. Property stays occupied easily with steady monthly rent.

Very cheap place for students to stay with low rent and budget food joints around. E-rickshaws to Sarita Vihar Metro or Mohan Estate are easily available, making transit simple.

Daily footfall for small grocery shops and local eateries is good. Main issue is getting inventory tempos into the village because double-parked bikes block the main entry lane constantly.
