Tiruvottyur is a simple and affordable area in chennai. Autos are easy to find and metro is also close. Its just the traffic that gets crazy especially towards the Tondiarpet side. Also parking inside smallar lanes are tough

If you are someone who prefers a quiet lifestyle, this is a great choice for you. Plenty of temples, eateries, and small shops here. But nightlife is basically nil. Every thing closes after 10 pm. so it kind of gets deserted
