Have been renting here in Taximens Colony for about 8 months now. Local trains and buses are easily available, and you don’t need to rely on autos all the time. The area has a bit of crowd. Lots of shops and small eateries are nearby.

I find everything I need nearby. Trains, bus stops, even shared cabs during rush hour. There is always life on the street, but inside the colony, it’s quiet and safe. My neighbours are helpful.

Taximens Colony is very congested, and buildings are quite old. Still, property rates are going up slowly due to its location. Basic facilities are there, and commute options are strong.

The flats are mostly old-style buildings. Inside the colony, it feels safe and local. Outside roads are mostly busy and noisy, especially during peak hours. Grocery, chemist, ATM and other facilities are nearby. I just wish the drainage system was better. Monsoon is a pain.

It’s a working-class area, not posh. During monsoon, waterlogging happens outside the main gate. Society is cooperative. Not much open space are there, but tenants usually stay long because it’s easy to travel from here.
