Sholavaram Reviews and Ratings (6 Reviews)
Sholavaram is a peaceful area no doubt. But not very convenient in many ways. There's less traffic but still commuting to main city or imp places takes lots of time because of lack of proper transport. It's very far from the central chennai
The rent is cheap in Sholavaram so it can be a good temporary staying option. But the limited amenities can be a problem. There's fewer malls, cafes and even good hospitals
The locality is ideal for those wanting to move away from the city chaos and live in the outskirts. The gardens and lakes nearby are the main attractions of Sholavaram.
I grew up here and also built my own house in Sholavaram. No doubt it's a calm and nice place to live in but there are many drawbacks too. Limited schooling and healthcare options make it difficult. there are small clinics but for a multispeciality hospital, you will have to travel far
I work in Central Chennai but found this area very reasonable for my budget so moved here. Commuting has been hectic but I like the peace here. My office works in hybrid mode so i don't have to travel everyday. On the down side, there's nothing much to do on weekends
Sholavaram is located far from the city, along the NH4 highway connecting Chennai to Andhra. It’s mainly an agricultural area with limited bus services to the city. You won’t find malls or colleges nearby. But if you’re someone who enjoys peace, greenery, and a countryside vibe, this place might be just right for you
