The area is slowly developing, with few residential layouts and basic amenities. Bus connectivity to the city is not frequent, so it's better to use your own vehicle. Schools, hospitals, and shops are far, so people go to the nearby town for basic needs. It's a calm place with green surroundings, cattle roaming around, and very quiet at night.

Rent is affordable here. Area is safe and peaceful. What I struggle with is the ocassional traffic and lack of public transport options.

The area is quite undeveloped compared to places just 15 km away. Roads are narrow and not well-lit at night. What I like is the quiet atmosphere and affordable properties

It’s not a quick flip market, but great for long-term growth. Rental yield is low for now, but I’m counting on future infrastructure plans to turn this into a value-for-money investment

I visited a friend here and it honestly felt like a peaceful countryside escape. But there’s barely anything to do socially nearby

I stayed here for some time. I liked the greenery and spacious flats. But there's nothing else to do here. No cafes, malls, brewaries, or even a park nearby. Road conditions were bad too

Akurli is a quiet village type area. there are lot of open spaces here. it doesnt feel very congested. but downside is the limited commute options. you dont get metro here. mostly local buses and autos

It's affordable to rent. there are great places around like ADAI waterfall and adai hills. its fun and quiet but not ideal for long term if you like to be close to all modern amenities

Food options are okayish around Perungavoor but the pocket friendly mess rooms are very less. Most shops close early too so nights get totally blank. Good thing is the main bus stop has decent daily frequency.

Daily supply delivery is manageable since mini trucks can enter the main lanes easily. But evening traffic near the entry point slows down everything, and customers have no place to park bikes properly.

Walking around the streets here is a big pain because of the loose sand and garbage dumped on corners. Street lights do not work in half the lanes. It feels very unsafe after 7 PM.

Getting to the main road near Sholavaram is quite easy from here. I just take my bike through the internal lanes and avoid the big junction crowd completely. Finding an auto in the mornings is also not a big deal.

The roads are completely ruined and nobody comes to clear the clogged drains. Every time there is a heavy downpour the whole area gets flooded with knee deep water... absolute headache to live here now.

Plot prices might look low but basic things are totally missing here. Power cuts happen almost every day for 2 hours and the drainage system is not connected properly. Better to look somewhere else.

The lanes inside are mostly quiet and there are 2 good schools right within driving distance. Streets are safe enough for bicycle riding in the afternoons, though evenings get a bit dark due to poor lighting.

Driving down here is fine on weekends, but autos at the stand charge 150 rupees for even short distances. No proper tea shops or shade anywhere near the main junction if you get stuck.

Bought a house here and life is quite chill. No noise from the main city traffic, plenty of open space, and daily vegetables are brought right to the doorstep by local carts. Peaceful place to stay.

Rent here is very cheap compared to central Chennai, like 8k for a decent house. Ground water is available throughout the day so we don't depend on outside water tankers at all. Safe area also.
