The rent is quite affordable compared to other parts of Chennai. I travel to my workplace, and the bus connection is decent, though autos sometimes overcharge. There are some nice grocery shops and small cafes just down the road. It’s not too noisy, and I feel safe walking home after work.

I invested in a plot in Pakkam three years ago. At that time, rates were very low. Now slowly the value is going up. A few builders have started flats too. It’s a growing area, not yet crowded. .

We have been living in Pakkam for 6 years now. It is a peaceful place with friendly neighbours. Roads are still developing, and some drains overflow during rains.

I shifted to Pakkam recently. It is a calm area on the outskirts, so it is peaceful. The roads are okay but narrow in some parts. I drive to Ambattur daily, so traffic is manageable in the mornings. Not many big restaurants, but you’ll find decent local places to eat. Rent is light on the pocket.

Pakkam seems promising for real estate investment. The environment is quiet, and there’s greenery. Schools and basic shops are there. I feel this area will develop more in next 5–7 years.
