We shifted to Mogappair for my IT job. Thirumangalam metro station is just under three kilometres away, giving me fast access to the office in Ambattur. Buses and share-autos run day and night. My 2 BHK flat in a gated society has regular water and backup power. Nearby Padi Road has many eateries and good cafes to hangout.

The area is very safe and convenient for IT professionals. India Land Tech Park is just around 3 kms from here, and there are plenty of supermarkets and malls nearby. However, there aren't many trendy cafes or recreational spots to chill during weekends.

I have been living here for the past 5 years, and the area has given me everything I ever needed. My kids go to the nearby school and the supermarket nearby makes things easier for me to buy groceries. Some lanes need better waste management but overall, a nice area for homeowners.

It's not the fanciest area in Chennai, but quite peaceful. It's away from the traffic noise and city hustle but also conveniently close to public transport for easy commute. I like the area. Although I have to travel far to enjoy high-end shopping and cafes outing.

I have rented one of my residential properties in Mogappair and the demand is steady, if not great. I don't often struggle to get tenants for the house, as everything is close by and the presence of tech parks nearby also helps. It's still developing with better road infrastructure.
