Medchal is an outer northern suburb of Hyderabad in the Medchal-Malkajgiri district. It lies along NH 44. The area is surrounded by Kistapur, Gowdavali, Gosaiguda, Pudur and Dabilpur. Daily travel is easy with Medchal Railway Station just about 600 m away, and nearby bus stops on the national highway. The locality is known for Medchal Court, a Magistrates’ court in Secunderabad. Medchal Lake and Medchal Village Chinna Cheruvu add greenery and open spaces. It is also home to important religious places like Sri Jain Temple and Sri Ramalingeshwara Swamy Temple.
Travelling towards the city side is tiring because traffic builds up on NH 44. Buses and shared autos are there, but not very regularly. On the positive side, it is less crowded, and you get open air near Medchal Lake and the Jain temple area. Nightlife and modern hangout spots are limited.
The area feels peaceful. There are Jain temple and Sri Ramalingeshwara Swamy Temple nearby. Local shops cover most of our needs.
Medchal is a convenient locality. Parking is usually available near my building. We often go to CMR Shopping Mall and small eateries near Medchal Check Post. The temple side around Sri Ramalingeshwara Swamy Temple feels family-friendly and calm.
Layouts along NH 44 and towards Pudur and Gowdavali are growing fast. Land rates in Medchal are still reasonable compared to inside Hyderabad. Medchal Railway Station and ORR are nearby. I expect good appreciation.
