This is one of those rare areas that doesn’t lose charm. Prices are high, but they rarely fall, making it a safe long-term investment.

Rent here is very high but the area being close to various0 metro stations and CP make it a good area to live in. There are lots of good places to east around here.

It’s one of the few places in Delhi that still feels peaceful despite being central. But the older buildings need constant upkeep.or else they can fall down.

I have been here for a few years now and I can say that the metro makes life easier, though parking is nearly impossible in most area here.

It’s not ideal for commercial ventures, but for heritage-style or boutique living spaces, Mandi House remains unmatched in character and demand.

Renting a place around Bengali Market is insanely expensive, and the apartments are mostly old configurations. It is super close to central Delhi offices, but the lack of residential parking lanes is a massive daily headache.

Mandi House area is wonderful for those who love cultural spots and wide, tree-lined roads. The residential pockets behind the main avenues stay completely clean, safe, and beautifully managed by NDMC.

Walking along the main circles here is safe because the footpaths are massive and well paved. However, evening traffic around Sikandara Road gets highly chaotic with tourist buses, making crossing the junctions quite tricky.

The Blue and Violet line metro interchange right here makes my daily commute absolutely effortless. The only downside is finding an auto or a cab after 6 PM because they charge huge premium flat rates.

Water supply is flawless with fixed morning and evening hours, and power cuts are non-existent here. The only issue is the loud honking and security diversions near the Copernicus Marg side during high-profile events.

The neighborhood is highly peaceful with beautiful, shaded walking tracks along Toda Mal Road. It is also excellent for medical access with top clinics and central government hospitals located just a few minutes away.

Street parking anywhere near the theater hubs is an absolute nightmare during evening shows. The authorized slots on Copernicus Marg fill up fast, so it is always better to just take the metro.

Property here is premium tier with zero new land supply, keeping values incredibly stable. Rental demand from top diplomats and corporate professionals is always solid, guaranteeing top-notch returns.

Getting budget PG rooms inside this zone is next to impossible because it is a highly posh government area. Most of us stay further out and use the metro to come here for library work.

The lanes near the local food stalls get heavily crowded and messy during lunchtime. Garbage clearance by the civic body is fast, but the drainage lines sometimes choke up during heavy monsoon downpours.
