Manapakkam Reviews and Ratings (6 Reviews)
As a resident, I’m happy with the solid internal roads and quick access to Mount-Poonamallee Road. DDLF IT park is less than 2 km from here, and I love that Delta Hospital is just a short drive away. The neighbourhood feels secure with a police booth nearby and clean sidewalks.
Owning a home here feels serene and safe. Street lighting is great, and the lanes always look vibrant. Local parks are also well-maintained. Traffic is also minimal, and I rarely notice any litter or noise in the vicinity.
I chose this place to rent because of its affordability and closeness to IT parks. I work in Jayanta tech park, and commuting is easy as I hardly get the traffic. Groceries and pharmacies are merely 5-minute walk from my apartment.
My sister moved here after her wedding, and I often come here to visit here. Commuting is good but finding local autos is very difficut here. I also hate how dusty and polluted this locality is.
Manapakkam is well-connected and close to the airport, though traffic can get heavy during peak hours. The 24/7 food court is a big plus for night shift workers, and all key amenities are easily accessible.
It's definitely a comfortable area in Chennai, but lacks of fanciness of Anna Nagar. You can call it an IT hub as there are a couple of renowned tech parks within 3-4 kms. But there is hardly any good cafes or cofee spots to hang out during weekends. I have only been to Chaayos near DLF, but nothing else good.
