I am here in Kothrud with my family. It has good connections with other areas via highways. We get PMPML buses to go to Deccan, Swargate, and Hinjewadi. The internal roads are also fine. You can easily commute on your two or four-wheelers. Autos and ride-shares are easily available most of the time. Metro station is within walking distance.

Kothrud is safe for women and seniors, even at night. Streets are well-lit. There are police patrolling every now and then. Cleanliness is above average. You can find lines of trees beside internal roads.

Paud Road and Karve Road are two national highways going through Kothrud. These are wide and well-maintained. You can get stuck in traffic during rush hours.

Kothrud is has reliable healthcare facilities. There are renowned hospitals like Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital and Sahyadri Hospital nearby. We do not need to go far for small clinics, pharmacies and diagnostics centers.

Kothrud is a safe and green neighborhood. For families with children, there are various parks like Late Sachin Angre Udyan. There are many smaller jogging parks around.

Kothrud gives me a homely vibe. It has lovely museums and parks. Societies are well maintained and feels safe. And there's vanaz metro nearby

Moved here only 6 months ago. The calm lanes are good to walk on. But rainy days are horrible because of waterlogging

The area has improved a lot. I love the railway museum here. There are good schools and hospitals as well. But the DP road gets jammed in the evenings

I am renting a flat in jijai nagar. It is surrounded by greenery and lovely gardens and parks. I like Kothrud

One risk I see here is if you pick the wrong lane, one with old buildings, the resale will be long
