I’ve been renting in Karayanchavadi for a year now. Quiet neighborhood, decent access to shops and schools. Commute to Porur is easy, but roads get waterlogged during rains.

Area feels safe and has a community vibe. Rent is much cheaper than Porur or Iyyapanthangal. However, the local roads definitely need better maintenance and more drainage.

It's an emerging residential zone. Good for budget-friendly investments. Appreciation may take time, but once roadwork and drainage improve, it’ll get more attention.
