This is a very good area to settle down in Chennai. its close to many transpot options, schools, collegs, hospitals and also malls like VR Chennai.

Everest Colony is a lovely area. I have been here for almost 4 years now. i work in IT and my office is just 15 mins. traffic isnt so bad if you leave early. the weather is humid but i like that there's a mogappair east park here which is great to hang out at

Everest Colony is a nicely maintained residential area. you get good parks, daily needs nearby, hospitals, clinics, schools all close by. streets are pretty nice although i do wish we get more parks and green spaces here. there are just a few parks but they all get very crowded

Its a calming and friendly neighborhood. people are really welcoming. Despite the language barrier, i've never felt like an outsider. apartments are good but rent a bit higher i feel. But considering the benefts, its fine

This can be a sensible investment choice according to me. Flats here are low on vacancy which means the demand is good and steady. families prefer this because of the green and quiet spaces and also the connectivity. Appreciation is bit slower than key IT hubs but still its a safe bet
